About Invoice Passport

Why it exists

Most free invoice generators are the same form with a “Tax %” box. That’s fine until you need CGST + SGST in India, HST that depends on the Canadian province, IRPF withheld in Spain, the §19 note in Germany or VAT plus two levies in Ghana. Then you’re left guessing.

Invoice Passport started as an invoice tool for African businesses, where getting mobile money and local taxes right mattered most. The same approach now covers 32 countries: pick yours and the invoice sets itself up correctly.

What makes it different

• Country tax presets, including multiple tax lines, tax-inclusive pricing and withholding
• Each country page lists the legally required invoice details, with sources and the date they were last checked
• Any currency, 7 invoice languages, A4 or US Letter
• Payment QR codes: SEPA for euro IBANs, UPI for India, or any payment link

How it works

Everything runs in your browser. There is no server-side database and no login: your business details, saved clients and invoice history are kept in your browser’s local storage, and PDFs are generated on your device. Use Export backup to move them to another device.

Keeping the data right

Rates and rules come from tax authorities and reputable tax summaries, and each country shows when it was last checked. Rules change, and people doing business in a country often notice first. If something is wrong, email [email protected] and we’ll fix it.
